RECRUITMENT OF SECURITY ASSISTANT (EXECUTIVE)

On line applications are invited for direct recruitment to the post of Security Assistant (Executive), General Central Service, (Group-C) Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the following Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India from amongst the candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions as mentioned below :

Scale of pay:  Rs. 5200-20200/- and Grade pay Rs. 2000/- plus allowances at

Central Govt. rates.

Age:  Not exceeding 27 years as on closing date of application. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC, Ex-Serviceman as per Government of India rules. Also relaxable for departmental candidates up to 40 years in accordance with the instructions/orders issued by the Central Government from time to time. 

Eligibility Conditions:

(A)         Essential: (i)- Matriculation(Class X) or equivalent from a recognized Board.

(ii)- Knowledge of local language/Dialect as specified above    against each SIBx/centres of examination.

(B)   Desirable: Field Experience in intelligence work.

Knowledge of Local Language/Dialect:- Candidates applying for the vacancies of a SIB are required to possess adequate knowledge of the Local Language/Dialect indicated against it (the SIB). They should be able to read, write and speak that Language/Dialect.

        Officer MMG Scale-II: At present the total starting emoluments are approx. Rs.30,900/- per month inclusive of DA & HRA at the current rate.

        Officer JMG Scale-I: At present the total starting emoluments are approx. Rs.23,100/- per month inclusive of DA & HRA at the current rate.

        Office Assistant (Multipurpose): At present the total starting emoluments are approx. Rs. 11,500/- per month inclusive of DA & HRA at the current rate.

        NOTE:  Other allowances & perquisites will be admissible as per the rules of the    Bank. 

3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

(A)   Nationality / Citizenship:

For Officer MMG Scale II & JMG Scale- I (Post Code No. 01, 02)

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) (Post Code No. 03)

Candidate must be an Indian citizen, and  also must be  a domicile of Orissa.

(B)      EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION ( As on 01.04.2011)  :

i)                    Post Code-01 Officer Middle Management Scale-II–:

      

 (I)  Law Officer  - 1 post

Degree from  a recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 marks in aggregate.

Experience  : - Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period not less than two years.

(II) General Banking Officer : 2 post

Degree from a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree / diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing , Agriculture, Hoeticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.

Experience :- Two years as an officer in Bank or Financial Institution.  

ii)                 Post Code -02 Officer Junior Management Scale-I

( i ) Bachelor Degree of a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent.

Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agriculture Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.

(ii) Proficiency in local language  Viz,  Oriya.

(iii) Computer Knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification.

iii)               Post Code- 03 Office Assistant(Multipurpose)

        (i) Bachelor  Degree or  its equivalent of a recognized University in any discipline ;
